Giordano's began with two Italian-born brothers who, upon moving to the United States found they were unable to obtain genuine Italian pizza. The brothers opened their first restaurant in Chicago in the '70s and began making deep-dish pizzas, using the recipe handed down by their mother. They named the restaurant after the matriarch of the family and today the restaurants are found throughout the country. 

Each restaurant is modeled after the original and follow strict quality control measurements to ensure each pizza is as good as the original. The Brandon locale is housed in the old Hops restaurant and followed suit by keeping the full liquor bar intact. In addition, how many pizza restaurants offer mail order pizzas? Giordano's does and will ship pizzas packed in dry ice to any point in the United States.
