This family-owned Bridgeport spot has served classic Chicago fast food favorites since 1990 to a regular crew of local families, lunch-breaking workers and kids fresh from school. Of particular renown are the Italian beef, which is crowned with a substantial heap of peppers; the homemade double sausage; and breaded steak. Pizza, pasta, lasagna and other traditional American fast food items are also available. During the summer, Italian ice is made in house and served fresh from a pick-up window out front, drawing regular crowds seeking respite from the heat.
