This welcoming, family-owned Lakeview restaurant specializes in creatively prepared and presented contemporary Italian cuisine. Visitors first enter a small, cozy room with a wood-burning stove, a circular oak bar and two tables that sit beneath an indigo ceiling with a moon and stars. Those seated in the main dining room dine under a trompe l'oeil ceiling with columns and "crumbling" stone walls giving way to a light blue sky and clouds. Appetizers include grilled calamari and portobello mushrooms; entrees range from gnocchi a la bolognese to veal in a white wine and asparagus sauce to pizza with grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes and radicchio.
