Fork -- formerly known as Fiddlehead Cafe -- has replaced its big banquette with three round booths and installed a glass-sided fireplace with comfy couch seating. The Lincoln Square gastropubs menu has also undergone a makeover: Patrons can choose from 25 cheeses and charcuterie picks, or opt for entrees such as sauteed scallops with pumpkin risotto and slider-sized filet mignon sandwiches. The cafe smokes its bacon and other meats on-site and uses local, organic ingredients whenever possible -- but if youd prefer to sip instead of snack, the restaurant also offers 140 beers and 30 wines by the glass and flight (listed by color and flavor, a bonus for wine novices).
