This casual Humboldt Park eatery offers typical diner fare -- eggs, meatloaf and mashed potatoes -- along with more ambitious dishes. Breakfast options include huevos volando (eggs hash over corn tortillas with guajillo sauce) and omelet specials, each accompanied by home fries, mixed field greens or spiced apples (think apple pie, but without the crust). There's an array of salads (standouts include the warm lentil and beet salad with mixed greens, goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette dressing is a standout) and sandwiches. The airy interior features high ceilings, original art by local artists (including co-owner Rebecca Gleason), exposed brick walls and ample vintage counter seating.
