This South Loop spot from the co-owners of Zapatista is named after one of the owner’s childhood neighbors on the South Side, an Italian-Polish couple who’d surely approve of the menu's mix of thin-crust pizzas and polish sausages. The culturally diverse (divergent?) fare also includes burgers and appetizers such as garlic bread and a Polish sausage, sauerkraut and pierogi sampler. If you dine in, your meal will come with a side of history: In a nod to the neighborhood, the restaurant is adorned with black-and-white photos of the Chicago Coliseum, which was once located just a couple of blocks away.
