The vision of Chef Michael Kornick (of MK and DMK Burger Bar) for this Lincoln Park seafood spot is decidedly simple: a cozy little "joint" with a friendly vibe, and inventive-yet-casual cuisine from the sea. This spot - a throwback to Chicago's neighborhood-style shrimp houses of yore -- serves items such as chowder, lobster rolls and baked clams, set against music from the bayou and beach shack-style decor. Citrus-infused cocktails, craft beers and sweet tea are also on hand. Could other little "joints" serving up pizza, hot dogs, or other low-key favorites be on the horizon for the DMK empire? "I hope so," says Kornick. Seating is for groups of 1 to 4 only, so big groups should prepare to split up or go to DMK next door.
