This brand new La Grange restaurant, is announcing its monthly summer specials, with deals as low as $10
"During the summer, we are offering a cheese, sausage or pepperoni pizza and a beverage for $10 on every first and third Saturday of the month. This special includes select beers," Greg Gron of Fireside Wood Fired Pizza & Cafe said. "When seniors visit us on Mondays and Tuesdays, they will receive 20-percent off their food selection."
Fireside Wood Fired Pizza & Cafe specializes in pizzas cooked the old-fashioned way--hand tossed and baked in a wood-fire oven. Speciality pies range from Tuscany to Four Cheese to Artichoke Pesto and typically serve up to two people.
Recently opened in February as a fast, casual concept, Fireside cooks the pizza in a special stone oven (built in Italy) at temperatures of 700 to 800 degrees, making the thin crust crispy and terrifically browned. Fireside offers a number of specialty options that range from traditional Italian ingredients to oven-roasted chicken with gouda and a barbecue sauce. It also serves toasted artisan sandwiches, salads and soups.
