Originally established in 1967 (the original location was on 35th Street), this Mexican spot is still a neighborhood favorite. The menu features the usual lineup of quick eats such as tacos, tortas, tostadas and burritos (the huge burritos are especially popular), as well as all-out meals served with rice and beans-don't miss the guisado de puerco (pork stew with tomatoes). The concise breakfast menu focuses on egg dishes such as huevos rancheros, huevos a la Mexicana and huevos con chorizo.
