Very disappointing... we were so looking forward to welcoming a good restaurant in the area. Eggy's has failed us three times. Carnitas bland on Nachos (no pizazz, same with egg dish at breakfast, also tried the steak salad for lunch (honestly tasted like diet food) and, my son ordered the adult hamburger and the bun was bigger than the hamburger. Let's just say Eggy's is off our list and that's unfortunate because we live in the neighborhood. boo hoo!

Went to Eggy's for breakfast this morning. Sat down right away at the counter in front of the window. I ordered the omelet with bacon & queso cheese. My boyfriend ordered 2 eggs over medium with bacon. We waited over an hour in a half to get our food. The waitress updated us three times that our food would be coming out shortly. We were pretty much going to call it a day & leave and then she brought the food. It didnt even look appetizing. My omelet looked like an eggbeaters omelot or one of those little frozen microwave omelets. The cheese was non-existant and little tiny shreds of bacon. No flavor & not good. My boyfriends eggs were well done. Both of our hashbrowns were soggy and dark colored as if they were cooked in old bacon grease. Our plates had a lot of grease on the bottom. Boyfriend ordered white toast he got wheat. Toast was cold. She brought over "sticky buns" & said this was from the kitchen as an apology for the food taking so long. We didnt eat them..not really what we wanted for breakfast..I figured since the breakfast was so bad the sticky buns probably werent good either & why waste a million calories on that. We wont go back for breakfast. Wildberry on Randolph & White Palace on Canal blow this place away for breakfast and are much cheaper!! We live in Lakeshore East so we may try their lunch....not sure if its worth it. Dont see this restaurant lasting with the poor quality of food & no taste. Too many other good restaurants to go to.
