Take an old school bowling alley and tack on a no-frills, dimly lit bar in a suburb that doesn't have many drinking options, and you get Eden Lanes, an inexplicably popular spot in Westchester. The lanes haven't been updated in decades, but the real draw here is the bar. Scattered tables, a napkin-sized dance floor, a decent jukebox and electronic darts games are apparently all that's needed to attract record-sized crowds on some weekend and holiday nights. The cheap drinks and a 4 a.m. liquor license probably don't hurt, either.
