New owners have taken over the Carlucci of Lincolnshire address. In August 2006 they re-christened the restaurant as Dolce, with a revised menu of Carlucci bestsellers and some fresh choices, plus some minor cosmetic changes to the space.
The restaurant has a ski-lodge meets Italian villa look (the Aspen Grille once called this address home) with rustic woods, high ceilings, a stone fireplace and an open kitchen fitted with a wood-burning oven. The Tuscan-inspired menu features choices like veal osso buco, oven-roasted pork tenderloin with wild mushroom mascarpone sauce and almond-crusted tilapia with a lemon beurre blanc. Go for the a tavola con linguine nel Parmigiano if you're in the mood for entertainment with dinner -- staffers toss linguine, basil, butter and prosciutto in a wheel of Parmesan tableside.
