Dodo owner Kim Dalton is partnering with former Mas and Branch 27 chef John Manion to open La Sirena Clandestina in the former Dodo space.
This veg-friendly neighborhood brunch spot first attracted a loyal following in its former Ukie Village digs. Now in the West Loop, the menu is strictly "breakunch," the Dodo version of brunch, which means that traditional breakfast items get a bit of a twist. Look for specialties such as tamales and eggs along with baked goods, soups and salads, plus specials that rotate weekly. The original Dodo was BYOB; now there's liquor, so you can get bloodys and mimosas with that scramble.
