Restaurateurs David Morton (Morton's) and Michael Kornick (Vivo, Marche, MK) have teamed up to open a restaurant that combines two downtown faves: DMK Burger Bar and Fish Bar. Though both spots are located in the city, the two restaurant gurus decided to open their newest join venture in their place of residence: Evanston. Complete with wood and metal fittings throughout, the industrial-esque spot seats about 30 diners. For burgers (grass fed, we might add) guests can enjoy toppings that range from aged cheddar and crispy balsamic onions to fried eggs, roasted chiles and pesto mayo. Seafood lovers can enjoy cod, shrimp, crawfish and other sandwiches. As usual, don't skimp on the fries - DMK Burger and Fish offers a variety of unique combos in addition to their traditional sea salt and black pepper classic.
