DO NOT EAT AT THE DIXIE KITCHEN IN LANSING!!!!! Not only was the food less than desirable, but the service was terrible. Starting with the general manager, KARYN SHEETS, who was the MOST RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and OBNOXIOUS person I've ever met in the food service industry and ending with the owner SYLVIA, this was a terrible dining experience. On Friday, March 1, 2013, we visited the Lansing location and after dining, TRAVIS the server made a mistake by charging my credit card twice. Instead of trying to correct the situation, the general manager, KARYN made it seem like it was our fault because we would not accept the double-charge to be refunded in cash. After being treated with great disrespect over and over again, we decided to leave knowing that we would contact the owner. By the time I contacted the owner, SYLVIA on Monday, March 4, 2013 she had already been apprised of the situation and immediately stated that she was going to stand with her employees as they conveyed to her a completely different story. She further stated that she was a millionaire and that she did not have to deal with me concerning the refund. SHE WAS MORE RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and OBNOXIOUS than her general manager. I was told that she would not issue a refund for the admittedly double charge and that I would have to go to my bank to resolve. This was done just to punish me by causing me to have to go through the extra steps eventhough she knew that Dixie Kitchen owed me the money. WHAT A HORRIBLE WAY TO HANDLE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! Sylvia needs to be taught that pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a great fall. PLEASE JOIN ME AND MANY OTHERS WHO HAVE BEEN TREATED WRONGLY BY DIXIE KITCHEN IN LANSING IN A BOYCOTT OF THIS BUSINESS.
