This funky Pilsen BYOB offers homestyle Mexican fare in a comfortable, vibrant setting (the walls are lined with a rotating selection of works by Pilsen artists). On the menu, you'll find recipes passed down through owner Sergio Reyes' family, which hails from the Zacatecas and Michoacan regions of Mexico. House specialties include sizzling steak dinners and complex moles, particularly the moles poblano and ranchero, which take up to seven hours to prepare and include as many as 20 ingredients each, as well as vegetarian highlights like potato taquitos served with Mexican sugar beets, carrots, squash, cabbage and queso fresco.
