Tucked away on a quiet, tree-lined Bucktown side street, this pub has all the fun of a raging house party – without the flat keg of beer. Instead you’ll find a wide-ranging menu of higher-end draft brews like Lagunitas IPA and Alagash White, along with Midwestern favorites like Bell’s Brewery and Half Acre. And okay, no bar in this neighborhood would be complete without PBR and Schlitz, which you’ll find here too. DJs spin eclectic, throbbing dance tunes for the high-energy crowds (which line up to gain entrance to the cozy space on Fridays and Saturdays – be warned.) The mismatched furniture and flickering candlelight in the back room provide a calmer reprieve for non-dancers to sit and sip.
