The sign outside D.C. Cobb's reads "vittles and fiddles," but the place is neither a restaurant nor a country music bar. It's a good ole local tavern. A lunch menu lists Polish sausages, quesadillas, burgers, chicken wings and other bar food. Upscale beers on tap include Guinness, Bass, Amstel Light and Sam Adams. Live bands, only on Saturdays, are usually blues or rock. Other points of interest include large- and small-screen TVs (usually tuned to sports), a balcony and other secluded areas for those who seek elbow room.
