After Laura Pekarik's sister Kathryn was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins T-cell lymphoma, her attention turned to food blogs and learning how to prepare cupcakes during her time at hospital visits. A bake sale, some recipes and a truck nicknamed The Green Machine led the pair to launch a food truck peddling the assortment of cupcakes. The pumpkin pie cupcake was derived from their mother's recipe and is a consistent seller, while the menu keeps four flavors -- black and white, pink velvet, vanilla on vanilla and dark chocolate-chocolate -- on the menu daily.
