The cupcake bakery that opened its first location in New York's Upper West Side in 2003 added a second Chicago location. The bakery's marquee offering, gourmet cupcakes, are monstrous mounds of sugar in flavors such as cookie dough, red velvet and chocolate ganache-drizzled grasshopper. Mini-cupcakes in pre-packaged dozens make for a quick grab for a morning meeting. Cookies (in 5- and 3-inch sizes) come in classic flavors such as oatmeal raisin, black and white and chocolate-chip. Muffins, brownies, scones and cakes round out the sugary stock, and coffee is on hand for your morning commute.
