Chicago’s Crossing Announces Beer Garden Opening
Tue., Mar. 27
Crossing, the newest venue in Southport and Wrightwood, is announcing the opening of its beer garden.
Crossing, a Four Corners Tavern Group bar and the official bar of the University of Kansas in Chicago, recently opened its sprawling beer garden, nestled in the back of the venue and sporting a full bar of its own.
“Classiest beer garden in the city, hands down. Come in for a scooter, a fishbowl, or a Svedka-spiked snow cone!” Ariana K. of Chicago said.
Crossing is the eighth bar in the Four Corners Tavern Group, and the group’s newest venue. Boasting more than 6,000 square feet of space, Crossing offers its guests several environments: four different bars, including a full bar located in the sprawling outdoor beer garden and an elevated mezzanine that will accommodate 30 to 50 guests.
Providing the ultimate game-watching experience influenced the conceptualization and design of Crossing, which now features more than 50 plasma-screen TVs. With 12 different draft beers and 34 kinds of bottled beer, not to mention 12 varieties of wine, Crossing provides an excellent place to watch a University of Kansas game or any sport event.
“Crossing is a phenomenal place. The alcohol is priced well; the music is good, not too loud; it gets packed but never feels like you can’t move; the people are always fun; and the TVs always have something good to watch,” Kevin B. of Chicago said.

About Crossing
Crossing is a continuation of Four Corners Tavern Group’s tradition of adding a great neighborhood bar and grill in a place where people will appreciate it. At Crossing, it’s not about reinventing the wheel (or the tap), it’s about sticking with what works, no apologies.
