This upscale River North steakhouse offers a variety of steaks, seafood and traditional Italian favorites such as assorted homemade pastas. Executive chef Federico Comacchio brings his Milanese background to the seasonal menu, which starts with apps such as bufala e pomodoro (fresh mozzarella, tomato, pesto and balsamic vinegar) and polip e fagioli (grilled baby octopus and spiced cranberry beans). There's also a line-up of fresh seafood, pastas, prime steaks and a raw bar with oysters, crab claws, shrimp and lobster. With massive windows that overlook Rush and Hubbard streets, the interior combines an art deco feel -- including black-and-white checkered floors -- with more traditional elements such as white linen tablecloths. For those looking for some laid-back after-work drinks, there’s a bar menu with favorites such as 437 mini-cheeseburgers, as well as a host of signature cocktails like The Perfect Man, with Southern Comfort, and sweet and dry vermouth.
