You’ll find both Haitian and American dishes at this Rogers Park spot, but don’t miss its specialty of Haitian pâté patties, a empanada-like pillow of dough with savory flavors such as chicken. Other items include Creole goat stew and griot, a nationally beloved dish of fried pork with plantains. American faves are available as well, such as roasted chicken with rosemary sauce or the fish of the day (usually cod or tilapia), along with a salad bar and buffet. Though several TVs are placed throughout the restaurant, don't be surprised if your eyes are glued to the scenes from the old country that adorn the walls.
