This restaurant-lounge combo will serve up authentic Middle Eastern and authentic Persian fare by early evening, with a loungey atmosphere by late night. The menu features chicken, shrimp, steak and salmon kabobs, among others, all served with vegetables and Persian rice and a side of house-made fresh bread. There will also be a hearty line-up of sandwiches, entrees, steaks, lamb chops and salads, including tabbouleh, Greek, Mexican and Persian varieties. Once dinner's over, there are two bars to whet your whistle while listening to Middle Eastern and American tunes late into the wee hours. (The bar is in the process of applying for a 4 a.m. liquor license, but will start off by being open until 2 a.m.) The lounge-style decor includes modern banquettes that wrap around the space, along with gold-plated chairs and other rich architectural details.
