Wood paneling and exposed rock walls frame this River North bar and eatery with waterfront views in the former Flatwater space. During warm weather, an outdoor patio and bar seats about 170; an upstairs terrace that seats 80 will serve as an open-air lounge on weekends. Drink offerings include eight draft and eight bottled beers, 32 wines by the bottle and seven reds and whites by the glass. The menu ranges from starters such as charcuterie from the Butcher & Larder and popcorn laced with honey, bacon, jalapeno and smoked salt to hearty entrees such as center-cut prime rib of pork and pan-roasted trout. Lunch and brunch service (think bacon pancakes, biscuits and gravy and other breakfast bites) will start May 7--which can be paired with the eatery's homemade bloody mary, served with a 7-ounce. Corona on the side.
