This sleek, contemporary Japanese eatery in Ravenswood serves a selection of inventive entrees such as hamachi kama (grilled yellowtail collar with citrus soy, served with asparagus and Japanese mint salad) alongside a long list of maki, nigiri and sashimi. In addition to more traditional offerings, house rolls include the Red Dragon, bigeye tuna over soft-shell crab, avocado and asparagus in house citrus sauce, topped with black tobiko and radish sprouts. Though there's a full bar, Blue Ocean is also down with BYOBers--there's not even a corkage fee.
