While Blue Ginger opened in Blu Coral's old location in January 2009, the two restaurants are unrelated. Sushi lovers will find a new haven with traditional options along with signature maki; diners who snub raw fish can look to filet mignon or salmon teriyaki. Popular rolls include the Crunch Punch (spicy tuna, crab meat, cream cheese and avocado topped with tempura crunch) and the Urban Heat (spicy tuna with jalapenos, tempura crunch and spicy mayo wrapped in soybean paper and drizzled with unagi sauce). The bar area beckons with sake flights, a nice insight into an extensive collection ranging from $7 glasses to $100 bottles. There's also a menu of martinis, including the signature Blue Ginger, made with ginger-infused vodka.
