Arts n Spirits, Chicago's newest venue for an entertaining evening out on the town, is thrilled to announce that it has now been in business for one year. To celebrate, it is hosting a Client Appreciation Party on May 12 from 8 to 11 p.m.
"Come and celebrate a night of laughter, food, drinks and painting for our first-year anniversary," Jessica Hess, co-owner of Arts n Spirits, said.
Arts n Spirits, which opened in early May 2011, offers painting classes that break down the painting process for students. During the classes, the instructor discusses concepts like the background color, the outline of the main image, which brushes to use, and how to make the strokes. Even though the instructor breaks down only one artwork per class, nobody is required to work on the selected painting or is limited to the colors on the sample version.
“Whether you consider yourself an artist or have never painted before, our instructor will guide you through the featured painting of the evening...and at the end of the night, you'll go home with your own unique painting! We invite you to visit our calendar and register for a session today,” Hess said.
Arts n Spirits also features the unique opportunity to enjoy a drink while painting. Arts n Spirits is also BYOB, although it is by no mean a requirement to drink while painting.
