Authentic Japanese fare (think beyond teriyaki and tempura) is the focus at this spot powered by chef BK Park (Aria Bar, Mirai) and brothers Ty and Troy Fujimura, the guys behind Small Bar. The newly-opened joint (a sibling to Arami is West Town) features a more casual lunch menu that includes a build-your-own bento, ramen, donburi and sushi. The dinner menu's stacked with specialty sushi and starters such as yellowtail sashimi with mushroom and truffle oil and sea urchin shooters with house-made soy sauce, while hot items range from ramen to braised shortribs with pickled Asian pear.
