Though he was born in Sicily, owner Antonino Genna spent his formative years on Chicago's Taylor Street. So when he opened this tiny spot in 1988, he was able to harness both his American upbringing and his family's recipes to create an authentic menu that appealed to local palates. Offering a large variety of classic Italian dishes, the menu also has plenty of pastas, pizza, as well as a few chicken dishes and sandwiches.
