Chef Matthias Merges (Yusho, Billy Sunday) heads south to Hyde Park, bringing Italian and French cuisine in the form of small plates, pizza, pasta dishes, sweets and Sunday brunch. The name of the restaurant derives from Merges's travels along the A10 motorway in Europe. The lunch and dinner crowd can choose from small plates like wood fired snails and chicken liver mousse, among others, and large plates featuring fish, steak, pork and even rabbit as the main components. Pasta dishes with a twist area available as well--such as the pheasant agnolotti with brown butter and sage. Choose from one of several sides to accompany your meal--from stone ground polenta and eggplant gratin. The Sunday brunch menu features Quiche Lorraine, the A10 burger with pork jowl bacon, tallegio and mustard jam, and spruced-up favorites like French toast with red wine poached pear, polenta griddle cakes and an olive oil doughnut with lemon curd. The drink list features craft cocktails with a variety of bitters, as well as beer and wine.
