6 Degrees

It's a small world after all at this Bucktown bar in the former Chinaski's address. With a couple of flat screens, friendly bartenders manning the taps and front doors that open up onto the street, 6 Degrees is your basic neighborhood bar -- with a twist. As a nod to the theory that six degrees separate any two people, Ann Keefner has decorated the walls with framed photos of her staff's friends, with plenty of room to continually add photos of her patrons. The hope? That you'll be able to have fun finding your connections here, by way of those photos on the wall -- or those sitting in a barstool right next to you.
Keefner worked for Sam Adams for more than a decade, so it's no surprise that you'll find the company's Boston Lager on draft, along withNew Belgium's Fat Tire, Half Acre Over Ale, Blue Moon, Guinness and more. A basic, affordable food menu features apps, soups, salads and sandwiches.Signature drinks and eats include skinny margaritas (made with all-natural agave nectar), flaming bloody marys (with a kick from Sriracha chili sauce), and a classic sandwich from Keefner's hometown of Springfield, called The Horseshoe (an open-faced monster stacked with your choice of meat and topped with cheese fries).
