Gregory Ellis and Steven Fladung, friends who grew up and worked at Charlie Trotter's together, are behind this Lincoln Park breakfast, lunch and brunch cafe. The restaurant serves inventive eats such as a pork belly sandwich with a sunnyside-up egg and bread pudding French toast. Lunch options include Israeli cous cous and a grilled salmon salad with arugula, avocado and kalamata olives. Look for drinks from local distillers and brewmasters, as well as produce and proteins from local farmers used in the eatery’s midday meals as well as breakfast bites such as homemade doughnuts and pop tarts with seasonal fillings. And if you're wondering about the name, it's a nod to the mythological tale about two sparrows pulling the goddess of agriculture's chariot.
