This self-proclaimed "burger, wine and liquor bar" is named for the temperature difference between a rare and a well-done burger. The fourth location of a West Coast chain, this hangout is rocking a retro parlor look thanks to dark toile wallpaper, tufted leather booths and chandeliers. A long bar in the center is surrounded by swiveling barstools, which seems to jive with the menu of soda fountain-style spiked milkshakes and floats. As for those burgers, choose from a handful of chef-curated topping combos or build your own by choosing your patty (ground sirloin, turkey or veggie) and piling on gourmet cheeses and sauces. Fries and onion rings are served a la carte in side orders fit for sharing. Wines by the jug, a handful of beers and well-balanced craft cocktails are on hand to wash everything down.
