A longtime favorite with teachers and parents, who combine a visit with a trip to one of the nearby museums, this is a medium-sized beach with a boat launch and a fair amount of sand, as well as a beach house with concessions and washrooms. Located on Northerly Island, along the shoreline of Burnham Park.
