BYOB places causes Tango Sur is always too crowded

    Glenn's Diner - 4

1820 W. Montrose Ave. - Chicago (Lincoln Square)

Great menu. They are masters of cooking fresh, flown in fish... but the rest of their dining options are nothing to scoff at.

    Caro Mio - 3 1/2

    1825 W. Wilson Ave. - Chicago (Ravenswood)

Great Italian. Very romantic place, but still a good place to have a group dinner.

    Los Nopales - 4 1/2

4544 N. Western Ave. - Chicago (Lincoln Square)

Great Mexican, more than just typical tacos and burritos. They cook a mean carne asada too.

Ecuadorian and Mexican faire. Haven't tried this place, but its always got a decent crowd - though, never crowded.

    Brasa Roja - 4

3125 W. Montrose Ave. - Chicago (North Park)

Haven't eaten here. Not super close to SoCo area, but it might be a decent option if we venture out.
