2 hour wait by 7ish usually every night....I would try to get there by 6 at the latest unless you don't mind waiting. Do not order anything but the ribs with zesty sauce. Careful, the creamed spinach is spicy....but tasty. Truly one of my favorite places to eat in the world. Lots of tradition....and you would not know it's there unless you know it's there-

Eclectic and interesting place for breakfast....very original...from the "orange" decor and scents, to the unique menu items like "frushi" (sushi with fruit) and great create your own juice mixes. Might be a good idea to eat here if you are heading to a Cubs game as it's a hefty but pleasant walk from Orange to Wrigley Field. Or, an even better option would be on the morning of the Wrigley Field Tour if that is going to be an option for you.

We think the food is great and it's quite nostalgic for any Cubs/baseball fan. Last time I was in here Ryne Sandburg was having dinner with Dutchie (Harry's wife) and some other folks. High end steaks and Italian (Harry loved good steaks and good pasta). If the Cubs are in town and it's a day game you have a decent chance of seeing someone from the Cubs or Visiting team's organization.

Ok so the key to the great Chicago Hot Dog is to go to one of the hole-in-the-wall places that may or may not even have a name for the place...like Bob's Red Hots or whatever. The closer they are to a health department violation...the better and more authentic it is. However, Portillo's is a fantastic chain Hotdog etc. place and I believe this one is the original. They are sprinkled throughout Chicagoland so you can also find these in the burbs if you have a car and you are leaving the city. Itallian Beefs are also reallly good here--
