5. The Return of Jezebel James

Parker Posey starred in this short-lived sitcom as Sarah, an infertle woman who must turn to her carefree sis, Coco ("Six Feet Under"'s Lauren Ambrose), to help carry the baby to term (are you laughing yet?). With "Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino behind this production, and Posey's well-honed comedy chops (including brilliant performanes in "Best in Show" and "Waiting for Guffman"), we had relatively high hopes for this by-the-numbers scripted comedy. We were so, so wrong.
