"Gossip Girl"'s Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr) and "The O.C."'s Anna Stern (Samaire Armstrong) may not look alike, but in terms of personality they're practically twins. Both are strong-willed, sarcastic and free-spirited indie girls yearning fruitlessly after their (willfully oblivious) male best friends.

When Anna left "The O.C.," Seth more or less admitted he wasn't mature enough to be with her, choosing to fulfill his uncool geek fantasies instead with popular rich bitch Summer. So far Dan Humphrey has traipsed down a similar path, blowing off former girlfriend Vanessa to date his dreamgirl, the high-class perfect princess Serena van der Woodsen. OMG, y'all!
