The off-Loop theater, currently under the artistic direction of Nic Dimond, recently received Joseph Jefferson citations for their 2003 production of the classic American drama "Detective Story." Other notable productions include David Lindsay-Abaire's twisted comedy "Fuddy Meers," a radio play series entitled "Wireless," as well as critically acclaimed forays into Shakespeare: "Measure for Measure," "Julius Caesar" and "The Merchant of Venice."
After numerous improvements, the 70-seat theater now boasts central air conditioning, a full bar and a space for receptions, benefits and cabaret performances. Opening weekends features a post-performance reception with the ensemble. The space is also available for rent.
