This intimate 100-seat theater was founded 22 years ago as strictly a stage for adaptations. Until recently, City Lit performed only literature ranging from PG Woodhouse to Charles Dickens. It's since expanded its repertoire to include contemporary theater and new plays. Performances take place in the quaint, black box space and typically run from eight to nine weeks at a time.
