Horse lovers can see the dinner theater show "Quadrille," an equestrian show modeled after the Quadrille repertoire of Napoleon's Europe, take a leisurly carriage ride or try their hand at horseback riding.
Half-hour (or longer) carriage rides depart from the southwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Pearson Street and visit scenic areas of the city, including the Magnificent Mile, Rush Street, River North, the lakefront and Lincoln Park.
Cowpokes and other horse lovers can take the reins into their own hands at The Noble Horse Theatre at 1410 N. Orleans St. The only remaining riding academy in the city offers horseback lessons for kids and adults, from beginners to advanced riders, seven days a week.
