Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire

Since 1975, this has been a premium place to see musicals in the suburbs, though it draws from the entire six-county metropolitan area. The resort complex features a comfortable, air-conditioned theater with arena stage where Equity productions bring to life major and lesser known Broadway musicals as well as new creations ("Annie Warbucks," the sequel to "Annie") and novelty crowd-pleasers ("Nunsense"). The productions may rely too much on miking and the orchestrations are less sumptuous than the originals, but what goes on stage is simply state-of-the-art.
