Rosemont Theatre
The sprawling Rosemont Theatre opened in October 1995. The baby-blue hall has witnessed many concert and variety shows and touring productions, including the Broadway version of "Carousel" and touring productions of "Cats," as well as performances by Barry Manilow, David Copperfield and Mannheim Steamroller. Highlights include the Joffrey's staging of "The Nutcracker" and the Rockettes in "Radio City Christmas," direct from Rockefeller Center. The theater is air-conditioned and comfortable, with fair acoustics and sight lines (fortunately, the side seats are not sold for theatrical productions -- just concerts).
