Great production that's easy on the pockets

I just saw the Nutcracker for only $8! It was thrilling (and my first ballet). There were 90 dancers involved ranging in age from 5 to 50 (the kids were just too cute!) Anyway, as Ms. Carol Mosley (President) explained; The guilds desire is to allow students to participate in full-length performances. This includes ALL the students regardless of skill, but they seem to keep everyone inside their talent-zone. They do have some awesome dancers too. Very elaborate costuming with wonderful scenery makes it easy to get lost in the moment. They take it very seriously, but also have lots of fun. Director/Choreographer was Ida Velez. They used a sound track with good quality. They performed in the theater at Saint Scholastica High School (with parking).
