Always a fun time at Willowbrook.

You have to come back more than once to realize that it is different each time. What a blast to take the lesson and dance all night. There have not been any children there on the regular nights I've been there and at the Swingers Ball the kids were swing dancing better than me. So, come join the fun!

Gone downhill

The Willowbrook used to be a pretty cool East Coast Swing venue but it has gone downhill. They now allow jeans and tennis shoes which makes it about as classy as a Palatine little league game. And they are allowing children in. The last time I was there some woman brought her 3 undisciplined idiot children who were jumping all over the dance floor and running around through the tables all night. What a buzz-kill. The Willowbrook used to have class. What a shame to see what it has become.

The Willowbrook Ballroom has a HUGE dance floor. I have been to several swing events at the ballroom and they are always a great time. The ambiance is very nostalgic. I feel like I'm stepping into a time machine when I walk in the door.
