This Bucktown wine shop specializes in handcrafted, small-production wines, with a focus on sustainable and organic producers. Bargain-hunters won’t be disappointed: About 50 percent of the bottles are priced at less than $20, and the most expensive clocks in at about $80. Red & White co-owners Sean Krainik and Nathan Adams opened the shop with the hope that it would become a neighborhood hub, so Krainik designed the modern-meets-rustic space, which features repurposed materials such as old wine corks and 100-year-old Wisconsin barn wood, with the capacity for events and tastings in mind. (Free tastings take place every Saturday.) In addition to wines, Red & White stocks about 25 Belgian and craft beers. Thursdays through Sundays, flower arrangements are available for $10-$20.
