The green, red and orange hued walls with exposed-brick accents are the first cues that you're not entering your average wine store. Wine bins here are laid out in a varietal progression, starting with sparkling wine and working around the room into big-fat reds (layout maps available). Within each category, the wines are then further classified from delicate to robust. The majority of the 300-plus wines are priced between $20-$25, with mostly boutique offerings. Just Grapes features an Enoround Tasting Bar -- an automated self-serve tasting system that lets you sample 24 featured wines by using a rechargeable ATM-like card. The store also has a "savvy sipper" wine club -- members get retail discounts and advance notice of upcoming events. The rear wine cellar may be reserved for business meetings, and the entire space may be rented for private events after business hours. Wine classes and seminars are offered regularly. Just Grapes also features a selection of small artisan spirits, beers and sakes.
