Don't expect to find good old Bud, Miller or Absolut here. This specialty booze boutique owned by Kyle McHugh focuses on local spirits, craft brews and affordable wines. Beer lovers can mix and match their own four- or six-packs from a slew of Belgians, American microbrews and funky picks such as mead (a beer-like fermented honey beverage) made with South African chilis, or Finnish sahti brewed with juniper twigs. As for liquor, McHugh brought in vodkas from nearby North Shore Distillery, vegan vodka made from Bolivian quinoa and a Canadian whiskey he discovered at WhiskyFest. As for the wine, 100 options cover the major wine-making regions of the globe, with room for up-and-comers such as South Africa, Hungary and Austria.
