Love wine and cheese? Then meet your match: This small Lincoln Park gourmet shop is named after the French words for "true love." Father-and-son owners David and Matt Somsky, a retired psychologist and bartender, respectively, taught themselves everything they know about wine through extensive tastings -- of more than 800 wines, to be exact. On the shelves here you'll find a well-edited, affordable range of American and international wines -- about 80 different kinds, most under $25 a pop. Brews by standards like Blue Moon and Stella Artois are augmented by offerings from Unibroue and Dogfish Head. In a cooler case, you'll find about 20 kinds of packaged cheese and an equal number of meats, ranging from Cypress Grove cheeses to summer sausage from Milwaukee-based brand Usinger's. The Somsky family's northern Michigan heritage shows in the selection of Cherry Republic sweets and salsas, along with marinades and dressings from Leland, MI-based Sisson's. And fans of Julius Meinl coffee will be happy to find it sold here by the pound.
